Based in Vancouver, Canada, Done Four Productions is the brainchild of filmmakers Jessica Clark-Bojin and Lindsey Mann. That’s us. Hi!
Inspired by films like Alien, Pan’s Labyrinth, and The Thing, we focus on the development of what we like to call “intelligent genre” – properties with exceptional art direction, inspired by folklore and grounded in real human drama.

We have a slate of “intelligent genre” properties in development, the first of which is the dark Dust Bowl fantasy Charlotte’s Song. Based on the short story The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen, Charlotte's Song tells the story of a young girl with a special gift, coming of age during one of the most desolate periods in American history. It stars actors Iwan Rheon of Game of Thrones and Misfits fame, and Katelyn Mager from Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
All of our properties are situated within universes that contain some unique magical construct – however, our stories focus not on the grand conflicts in these worlds, but on the micro, human-level drama where the real truth about the human condition lies.

We will shortly be posting more information about our second feature film project, based on the IDW comic book "Monster & Madman" by 30 Days of Night creator Steve Niles. Monster & Madman will be directed by Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin and is slated to begin filming in late 2016. Watch this space for updates.
It can be summed up with three words: Art Direction First. We focus on what we do best – practical FX, creature design, music, dance, fights, and beautiful (and sometimes disturbing) settings. We take a collaborative approach to filmmaking in which our directors, writers, and all creative department leads work together to bring the most compelling worlds to life. Story and setting work hand-in-glove in defining the magic of our properties.
With modest budgets and ambitious visions we take a unique approach to the staffing of our projects, blending the best and brightest fresh new talent with industry veterans. The young talent are given a unique opportunity to shine and show the world what they are capable of, while the vets benefit from the fresh injection of passion and energy throughout the project. We also work with industry leaders in a mentorship capacity - creatives at the top of their professions - who provide invaluable guidance and encouragement.
Hard work and talent are only half of the equation – our zero-tolerance policy for cruelty and disrespect, combined with our “Code of Conduct” which all cast and crew sign, contribute to making Done Four Production sets some of the safest, most relaxed, and most fun that you’ll encounter in this industry.
And after all, isn’t that what filmmaking should be all about? Having a great time, working your butt off in a friendly environment, with dozens of passionate people at the top of their game… We don’t know about you, but that sounds like paradise to us!
